The Commonwealth REACT started as a notification group in Norwood Massachusetts area, but we as a group decided that just going to fires and disasters wasn't enought. We wanted to make a differance. We wanted to help out the public safety professionals at these incidents. So, we formed Commonwealth REACT. We are a non-profit company that responds to fires and other unforseen incidents to assist firefighters and other public safety with rehab services, and light canteen service. Commonwealth REACT will respond to fires with water and other items to assist the departments working the incident. We will respond to search and rescue incidents to lend out members in finding lost individuals in the woods and or other areas. We will provide any support that we are able to, for any public safety agency in our coverage area. The group as a whole did not give up on notification. It is still thebackbone of our company. It will act as our primary form of information to the start of these disasters. Membership is available on the notification side and/orthe response unit. If you are interesed and would like more information please go to the "membership" link on the left hand side navigation bar. Thank you!

He needs a swimming partner/assistant. He attends the YMCA a few times a week and swims in the pool for about an hour. He already has a ride to the YMCA but needs someone just to meet him at there for an hour or so to help him into/out of the pool and just be near him while he swims. He is limited in his mobility but is very easygoing and laid back. Swimming at the Y is his "thing" and he loves it, but the staff there has decided that he needs a swimming partner if he wants to swim there. He has not been there in almost a week and already notices stiffness in his joints. Exersise is critical to his emotional and physical well-being and it would mean the world to myself and him, if someone were to give us a hand once or twice a week for an hour or so. This is the chance to make a huge difference in someone else's world. He's the sweetest guy in the world and I should know because he is my Dad.
I would do this myself, but I live in California. Thanks to anyone who even considers helping out. Feel free to email me with any questions
