This porthole has been salvaged from the ocean and been professionally restored and repurposed into a side table. It is a very large porthole measuring 21 inches in width. The glass is original . It has a few tiny surface dings, but no cracks, breaks, or scratches. The glass measures 15 inches and is 1 inch thick. The height of the table is approx. 26 inches high and is very, very heavy. To support the weight of the porthole, steel brass coated spindles and legs from an early 1900's brass bed were restored and used. What makes the table unique is the restored early 1900's Kelvin & Wilfred O. White Co. brass ships compass that was used to support the spindles. When you put a light underneath it, the compass lights up beautifully like it would have on a ship. Serious inquiries only.
