!!!MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE CARS, VANS, AND LARGE BOX WORK TRUCKS WITHOUT HITTING THINGS!!!
This is full-time on the books employee position.
Variable schedule usually Monday through Friday but some weekends may be required (Overtime typically allowed only for skilled and productive workers who "wow" me with efficiency and skill)
Your own basic general purpose maintenance hand tools and a basic common battery impact driver at minimum REQUIRED (We do provide the vast majority of the tools required for the work as well, but each worker must have their own basics)
Criminal history and credit checks performed as well
Looking for someone reliable and decently knowledgeable "JACK OF ALL TRADES" with basic ODD JOBS starter skills.... Just well-rounded knowledge and ability) in the areas of at least:
Learning new skills easily
ORGANIZING AND STAYING ORGANIZED! (If you're a disorganized shitshow, forget it, this is not for you)
General and detailed Cleaning, Cleanup, and cleanouts (Knows how to clean and organize VERY WELL)
Demolition help of varying degree (General skill with demo without creating more additional work than necessary)
Attention to detail work NOT HACKJOB type work
Comfortable and proficient knowledge of how to PROPERLY utilize most common types of hand and power tools
Basic knowledge of what types of caulkings and sealants to use when and where! (You'd be surprised what I've seen)
Able to PROPERLY measure, cut, screw, hammer, scrub, wash, sweep, vacuum, mop, drive, hold things steady, follow directions, be on time, work efficiently, et cetera
Can mow and trim and do yard cleanup WELL
Isn't afraid to shovel snow (There may be LOTS of this in the winter)
Basic intuition for repair work required
This job requires lifting kinda heavy things, reaching, bending, standing for long hours, keeping on the move at a steady pace..... you know.... ACTUAL work! If this is something that you know you suck at, this job is not for you.
Must be:
COMPLETELY SOBER (No substance abuse issues of any kind)
Not on the phone.... like ever (Not on the clock for any amount of time for any calls or scrolling through anything unrelated to work... especially while driving a company vehicle without a hands free device... This would be an instant loss of job)
Honest and trustworthy
Reliable and punctual
Well spoken and well dressed
You don't have to like everyone, but you have to know how to be decent to them even if you hate them.
Can follow directions WELL and work mostly autonomously without me having to constantly look over your work to make sure you didn't mess up AGAIN.... only to find out you did
Reply with a description of your prior related experience, a list of skills you BELIEVE you are really good at, a list of those you know you are not so good at (We all suck at some things... I want to know these things).
I am not cheap and I pay people who deserve it based on their performance really well.... But I'm not afraid to tell someone they are not worth it when they aren't regardless of their own deluded high opinion of how really really good they BELIEVE they are.
