Now hiring Position Summary:
Maintenance/General Labor Worker performs a variety of manual labor and basic maintenance tasks to support daily operations at our laundry facilities. This position assists with general upkeep of buildings and grounds, performs light repairs, and helps maintain a clean, safe, and beautiful environment for our employees and customers. Must have common sense and the abiity to work with tools. MUST have skills of remembering how to re-assemble what is taken apart.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facility & Grounds Maintenance. Cleaning is a must and is going to be a majority of this position. 2nd would be general repairs of our equipment. (We will train right candidate.) Replace valves, hoses, drains, misc parts on Washers and Dryers)
- Perform routine landscaping duties such as mowing, trimming, weeding, and debris removal of our 4 locations. (ALL New Bedford area)
- Assist with building maintenance including painting, cleaning, and minor repairs.
- Conduct basic carpentry if needed, possible plumbing(for example Toilet leaks, faucet repair) .
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment for our staff and customers. (Stock soaps, paper towels etc..)
-Assist with general maintenance of our fleet of vehicles. (Check oil, replace wipers etc, replace a battery in vehicle when needed)
- Report maintenance needs, hazards, or equipment malfunctions promptly.
- Comply with all company policies, environmental regulations, and safety procedures.
